Mini Pooh Lovey - Free Pattern

Hi...
Here is my mini pooh lovey and the pattern^^



I done this with 2.5mm Hook, you may choose the yarn and hook size suit to your yarn^^
Notes : working on continuous rounds.

Ear (make 2):
in yellow
Row 1 = 6sc in MR
Row 2 = Inc in every stitch around (12)
Row 3-4 = Sc in every stitch around (12) -> 2rows
Row 5 = 2sc, dec, repeat around (9), FO

Arm (make 2):
Start with yellow 
Row 1 = 6sc in MR
Row 2 = Inc in every stitch around (12)
Changes to Red, do not cut the yellow color
Row 3-4 = Sc in every stitch around (12) -> 2rows
Row 5 = sc, dec, repeat around (8)
Row 6-7 = Sc in every stitch around (8) -> 2rows
Changes to yellow
Row 8 = 2sc, dec, repeat around (6)
Row 9-10 =  Sc in every stitch around (6) -> 2rows, FO

Head :

in yellow
Row 1 = 6sc in MR

Row 2 = Inc in every stitch around (12)

Row 3 = Sc, Inc, repeat around (18)

Row 4 = 2sc, Inc, repeat around (24)

Row 5 = 3sc, Inc, repeat around (30)

Row 6 = 4sc, Inc, repeat around (36)

Row 7-11 = sc around (36) -> 5 Rows

Row 12 = Skip, 8 sc, repeat around (32)

Row 13 = sc around (32)

Row 14 = 7sc, inc, inc, 14sc, inc, inc, 7 sc (36)

Row 15 = 8sc, inc, sc, inc, 5sc, inc, 2sc, inc, 5sc, inc, sc, inc, 8sc (42)

Row 16 = 8sc, dec, sc, dec, 7sc, dec, 7sc, dec, sc, dec, 8sc (37)

Row 17 = 18Sc, dec, 17sc (36)
Row 18 = 7sc, dec, repeat around (32)
Row 19 = 2sc, dec, repeat around (24)
Row 20 = 2sc, dec, repeat around (18)
Row 21 = Sc, dec, repeat around (12), slip stitch in next stitch, continue to lovey, or you want to make the lovey seperately, you should finish the until row 22
Row 22 = Dec, repeat around (6), FO

p/s : This Pooh Head pattern is inspired from the original pattern "Derpy Pooh Bear" here
i do adjusted some details....it's more easy for me^^ and I am happy with my outcome.  

Lovey :
in yellow
Continue from head, Gouge i use "chains and dc (double crochet)"
Row 1 =  inc, repeat around (24 dc)
changes to red
Row 2 = 5chains, skip next stitch, slip stitch in next stitch, repeat around
Row 3 = 2 slip stitch in first 2 chains, chain 3, slip stitch in middle of next chains (in the middle of 5 chains that we made in row 2)
Row 4 = (2dc, 3chains, 2dc) done in the 3 chains we made in row 3, repeat around
Row 5 = 3Chains (as first dc), *2dc, 3chains, 2dc* in chains that we made in row 4, dc in next stitch, repeat around
changes to yellow
Row 6 = 3Chains (as first dc), dc in next stitch,  *2dc, 3chains, 2dc* in chains that we made in row5, 2dc in next 2stitches, repeat around
Row 7 =  3Chains (as first dc), 2dc in next 2stitches,  *dc, 3chains, dc* in chains that we made in row 6, 3dc in next 2stitches, repeat around
Row 8 = 3Chains (as first dc), 2dc in next 2stitches,  *2dc, 3chains, 2dc* in chains that we made in row7, 3dc in next 3stitches, repeat around
Row 9 = 3Chains (as first dc), 3dc in next 3stitches,  *2dc, 3chains, 2dc* in chains that we made in row8, 4dc in next 4stitches, repeat around
Row 10 = 3Chains (as first dc), 4dc in next 4stitches,  *dc, 3chains, dc* in chains that we made in row9, 5dc in next 5stitches, repeat around
Row 11 = 3Chains (as first dc), 4dc in next 4stitches,  *2dc, 3chains, 2dc* in chains that we made in row10, 5dc in next 5stitches, repeat around
Row 12 = 3Chains (as first dc), 5dc in next 5stitches,  *2dc, 5chains, slip stitch in 2nd chain, 1chain, 2dc* in chains that we made in row11, 6dc in next 6stitches, repeat around, FO

I am not sure you can understand my description for the lovey, here below please see the picture, hope it can help you to understand...
Lovey details

After finished all parts, you can start to assembly the arm and ear, then embroider the eyes (at around row 13 & 14) and nose (at around row 16-17).

...and your mini pooh lovey is done here^^

Opps!! almost forgot this details (how i close the hole between the head and lovey), i use hot glue as shown in the picture below^^

  1. Thank you so much for posting the pattern. It is adorable. I am currently working this up. I did find a couple of errors on the arms. The stitch count on Rnd 5 & Rnd 6-7 should be (9), not (8) as you are decreasing 3 stitches from the previous rnd. Also on Rnd 8 to get down to (6) stitches, you will need to sc, dec, around. This way you will be decreasing by another 3.

      You are welcome, i am so glad that you are working on this pattern, and thanks for your notice..
      I have revised the pattern for Arm,
      Row 5 should be sc, dec so it have (8),
      and also row 8 should be 2sc, dec so it have (6)

  2. I love your Winnie the Pooh lovey. Too cute. I am making one for a friend of mine that has a baby due in August. She's having a baby girl.I'm going to add a pacifier to mine.
